Henry Heitmann

Hi, I’m Henry, a Software Engineer at iteratec. I work on the security and privacy of AI, figuring out how AI can benefit humans while keeping them and their personal data safe and private.

Specifically, my research interests are privacy-preserving machine learning, as well as attacks that target private data. Moreover, I’m interested in the ethics and alignment of AI.

I received my BSc and MSc from the University of Hamburg. During my graduate studies I worked on secure aggregation for federated learning.

Other than that, I create music, climb rocks and teach kids how to code.
